I GIVE UP

so, DOES the last child get away with EVERYTHING? YES!! Waffles and Red Velvet Cake for breakfast. A meal for champions...well, at my house it is. And, don't forget the DS at the table. I'll thank the Eliason's for the Red Velvet Cake, the EGGO company for the waffles and, well, a stubborn last born for the DS. Heaven Help Me!! :D

Now...He is STUCK like this for 2 weeks and all because of a game of soccer. What's up with that?
After a trip to urgent care, an MRI, several X-rays, a doctors visit and now a scheduled appointment with a pediatric sports medicine orthopedic surgeon at Phoenix Children's Hospital...who KNOW's what will happen next!!!

What Once Was Lost...Has Now Been Found!

Mike told the boys that I have "lost my will power". That in translation to O became, "Mom, you have no Power"?..."Yes O, I still have my Powers." "No you don't". "Yes, I do." "No you don't." "YES OWEN, I DO HAVE MY POWERS"! "No, dad said you don't because you still drink your soda." (as i'm driving up to sonic and ordering my diet coke at 7:03 in the morning) "NO MOM...YOUR GOING TO LOOSE YOURRRRR....ohhh it's gone".

I'm happy to say my "Power is Back!" and I'm 12 days free...(ohhh that sounds bad doesn't it!)

This all came about because I have entered into a weight loss competition with a group of friends. Please...save your comments,I don't want to hear them!! I was asked by a great friend to be her partner and because I "LOVE" her to pieces I couldn't say NO!! We have decided to WIN and together we are going to take down the other teams. (she has already lost her quota, and is withering away...I am just not drinking soda and giving her moral support!! :D ) When we win and get our Big $$$ I'm thinking instead of new shoes, I'm gonna just get this instead...

FIVE

Our O-ee...no longer a baby anymore...No longer want's to be O-ee, "O-W-E-N is my name!". Had his 5th birthday yesterday.

He has brought so much laughter into our home and for that we will forever be blessed. He is...well, our Owen...words fail me at the moment...he is my LAST everything...I treasure all he does, for there will be no more...no more firsts, just LASTS...he makes each one special, unique and sometimes sad. He is like no other. Different than the other 3, he has his own ideas of how things are to be done and does them HIS way...for that I love his determination, but at times his stubbornness is my greatest feat! My BOYS...I love each of them...How blessed they have made my life. How different it would be with out just one of them. How different THEY would be without each other!! They are best friends...they are brothers to the end...they are MY BOYS...they are an eternal family...

Easter 2010

Great Idea Nonie...

As ALWAYS...Leave it to Non to pick out some CRAZY idea for a Holiday. This year...Easter Hats for the adults. Mike won...he was the "egg-terminator". Mom also made these cute backpacks for all the kids to put their eggs in. We all had a great day together and once again were reminded how blessed we are to have family so close.

2010

"Youthman" brought these home yesterday. Because I am a cheep mom and refuse to purchase $100 school picture packets...I scanned them into the computer instead. (honest, probably not, but then again, they shouldn't have sent them home for me to do that then should they!) Not a big fan of the "poesy pictures" but one of the BIGGEST of Him!!
