Driving to the bus today we had an extra friend in the car...he was telling the boys, pointing to the High School, "My brother goes there". Ian asked how old he was. The friend replied, "He's 15, when he's 16 he'll get a car." Ian...without missing a beat said, "And then when he's 19 he get's to go on his mission". The friend responded, "but when he's 16 he gets a car", Ian said, "AND then at 19 he gets to go on a mission!"A smile came upon my face...here my 8 year old sat next to me...not excited to be 16, to get a car, to date, to drive, but counting down the time before his OWN mission...A PROUD mommy moment!! Ian is constantly seeking to know the truth...wanting to understand all there is to know...asking questions and thinking about the answers given...I have no doubt that he WILL, someday,be an extraordinary missionary...

Extraordinary missionaries often come from extraordinary mothers. It will be little surprise. <3
