15 years ago TODAY, we said YES, in the Mesa, AZ Temple. What a day. I remember it so clearly. Unlike today, I was not sick(that was my sister-in-law...sick to death). Just like this week, it was NBA playoffs. How fast time has gone by. I use to HATE it when others would say, "You will be surprised how fast time will fly by"! But it does, and I am! 15 years, and 4 BOYS latter, and I am in AWE at the speed at which time has gone. It does not stop. FOR any thing or ANY one. I have been blessed with an abundance of blessings. WHY I have not figured out yet, part of me doesn't want to. I am grateful for these blessings and for whatever the blessings...I will take them and just be grateful. I have a husband that I adore and who adores me more than I can express. How I got to be so lucky I will NEVER know. For that I can only thank his parents over and over. If it weren't for them, well...I would not have him. They truly gave me the greatest gift ever. I am constantly aware of their role in his life. What outstanding parents had to of been to raise such an incredible MAN. If I can only measure up to their standers. It's a job that never ends, as I have been able to receive council of my own from them, it is easy for me to see how he is the way he is and why he parents the way he does. My boys will be the men they are to be because of him and because of his parents. What a blessing.
16 years ago, on a November night, I sat on the phone with a young returned missionary. 7 weeks later he asked me to marry him on his sister's birthday. I have "SWOONED" each night since. He is my light, my life, my love.
I love you!
