It's funny how sometimes you get what you ask for.
Several weeks ago Mike was approached and asked how he felt about becoming a seminary teacher.
What they didn't know was that he has talked about being a seminary teacher LONG before they asked.
Yesterday, Mike was released from the High Council and put in as Seminary Teacher for the 2010-2011 school year. He is so excited. Why you ask? Because he is going to be one of the Best Seminary teachers ever!!! Never have I know anyone who wanted to be a seminary teacher. He has. He LOVES the gospel. He KNOWS the gospel. He will TEACH the gospel. He LIVES for the gospel. How BLESSED his students will be to have him share HIS testimony each and EVERY day as I have been for the last 15 years. I am SO very excited to be able to share in this with him. What an exciting adventure we are about to have.

This must be a joke. He really did WANT to be a seminary teacher?! Ok, yes then, he will be the very best seminary teacher there ever was! :) Congrats!
In spite of my initial reaction, I am thrilled that the students will have the opportunity to learn from this wonderful teacher. Lucky kids, lucky parents!!!
AWESOME!!! He will be great!!! It is an extra blessing to have such a supportive wife too! What an awesome experience this will be for your family! The youth in your area will be blessed!
